Top Workplace Frustration Identified

USA Today released an Opinion Research Survey that itemized the top workplace fraustrations.

Leading the pack: poor communication by senior management about the business.

Notice there are two parts to this: HOW something is delivered (poorly) and WHAT is delivered (tell us what the heck is going on.)

We used to think that workers only wanted to hear from their direct manager. Not any more. In a fast-paced, global world, we want to know if the folks of the top really have a grip on what we do and where we are going. The days of blind obedience are over.

Executives… craft the message with both humility and fact– with examples and story. Forget whitewashing anything. Employees want to know what YOU know.
