Too much to READ and too little time

OK, so we’re all feeling overwhelmed by everything that flies past our face, on our screens, and through the ear buds. It’s so much!!  And guess what—now there’s proof.  In 2006, the world produced 161 “exabytes” of digital information—3 million times the amount of information contained in all the books ever written!  By 2011, the world will produce 988 exebytes of data. So report the Columbia Journalism Review.   And no—the digital information is not just on online content from media sources.  I am contributing to the excess with this blog. That’s why mine are short!
