Leadership boils down to three Cs, says Accenture chief William D. Green, chairman and CEO of Accenture, says you don’t need endless management tricks and techniques to be a good leader — you just need to be competent, confident and caring. “There are three things that matter,” he adds. “When young people are looking for clarity … I just tell them that.”
Notice he didn’t say charismatic, crafty, or crooked… three attributes that we have seen in so-called leaders who were only leading a deck of cards.
How would you rate on the competence, confidence and caring scale? Better still, how would your employees rate you? Your customers? Something to think about.
