USA TODAY’s Ad Meter tells us much in the order of ratings:

  • The friendship between a puppy and a Budweiser Clydesdale,

  • A kid riding a dog for Doritos

  • A returning solider feted to a huge surprise of a homecoming parade.

For all of us who market to clients or customers, pay attention. Folks want a human connection.

They want top feel someone cares for them and for others. And, they want to laugh.
