According to the INSEAD business school in Singapore and the Wharton School in San Francisco, mindfulness meditation can help improve business decisions and prevent investment mistakes. Psychological scientists found that meditation (being quiet and focusing on the breath BEFORE proceeding) helps people resist the “sunk-cost-basis”—the tendency to continue a project despite negative results in order to justify the money spent to date. Sounds like Congress should meditate.
